Heller said that Lee thought the scene would be “ too fragmented.” In other words, Lee’s concern was that the heavy use of mirrors would make it too hard to tell what was going on and this approach would risk ruining the intensity of the fight. According to Enter the Dragon producer Paul Heller, Lee wasn’t in favor of the mirror room scene when it was presented to him by Heller and the movie’s director, Robert Clouse. Though the scene ultimately turned out well onscreen, Lee didn’t support the idea at first.
